Boat prep

Monday, February 23, 2015

On overnight charters, we usually start around two days before our guests actually arrive to the boat.
During this time we have a little *boat party* where we do what we like to call 'flipping the boat'... it's where we organize ourselves from our previous charter and start to prepare for our next.
It usually consists of: going to the dock to top off all the water tanks, scrubbing the decks and cockpit, multiple trash "runs", printing off more exams, provisioning the boat, going ashore to do laundry and making up all of the cabins.....
In the evenings you might even find us listening, well more like poorly dancing around the boat ;) , to a new country or pop artist song finishing up a few last minute things.
