The Boats

S/V Barefoot,
Our ASA 104 boat in both Oriental, NC and Miami, FL and vessel we live on full time while we are in Miami/Florida Keys. Barefoot is owned by Rich with Grace Harbor Watersports in which we teach ASA courses in conjunction with.

She is a 1994 shoal draft Catalina Morgan Capri that can sleep 7 maximum, 6 comfortable, with two private cabins each with its own head.

Barefoot is a sloop rig sailboat with an in-mast roller furler system and is outfitted with solar panels and wind generator which makes her great for a liveaboard / cruising vessel!

S/V Bandit,
Our ASA 101 boat in North Carolina. It is owned by Stephanie and her family.

Bandit is a 26' Sloop rigged Tanzer with a 3'10" draft that sleeps 5 maximum, 3 comfortably. She has an aft cockpit with tiller and outboard motor.

She was bought for $50.00 (yes $50) in January of 2014 from Annapolis, MD and has been improved / restored ever since.  Bandit is a Canadian racing vessel with a fin keel and made it back to the water in Oriental, NC in June of 2015. To see the history of Bandit's progress, check out her page here.

S/V Kermit,
The boat we teach our ASA 101 courses on in Miami, owned by Island Dreamer Sailing School. Kermit is a 20' Balboa Sloop with a retractable keel. She is a fast little boat that is fun to sail!

The boat we teach our ASA 103 and docking endorsement courses on in Oriental, NC, owned by
Grace Harbor Watersports. Loki is a 30' Hunter Sloop with a 5' draft. She is a lot of fun to sail and will hopefully be available for bareboat chartering in the summer of 2016.
